This is a quaint motel with a wonderful staff. It's been around for a number of years, but I love it because its like home, cozy and clean. Best of all, it's in the PERFECT location if you're vacationing/visiting Hershey.

Very upset with how my trip turned out. We were very excited to stay here, but when we first arrived the room was poorly cleaned and smelled very musty / like smoke. Our dresser was broken and there were little dead bugs littered around the room. The main reason we booked a room here is to have access to the pool, which their website says is open but when we arrived, the pool was still closed to guests. There are no do not disturb signs so housekeeping just walks in first thing in the morning despite the doors being locked. On top of that, there are 3 locks on the doors that you’re not allowed to use. Management came in and yelled at us first thing in the morning for locking our door. My apologies, but I don’t feel safe leaving our doors unlocked. Why have 3 locks then? Then we were accused of smoking in the room when neither my friend or I have. If you scroll down, dozens of reviews mention the smell of smoke / pot smoke, so clearly it’s not that big of an issue - only when they want to target and bully specific guests I suppose. They threatened to have the police remove us and began searching our room for “evidence” and took our trash to search through. Lastly, I couldn’t even have a nice bath as there is no water pressure and the water just barely goes above lukewarm temperature. Stay at the Hershey Lodge. Much better staff and rooms there, lesson learned. Edit: Since you wanted to leave a snarky reply, thanks for confirming that you harassed us about the smoke smell. We planned on mentioning all of this after the stay, but since management is so incompetent, maybe we should air this dirty laundry publicly. And nah, you told us that we couldn’t lock the doors at all. Don’t try to change the story now. No worries, I’ve attached photos as proof of how beautiful the rooms were. Cheers ! 💕

Overall it was very nice, but one snag is you gotta pay to use the WiFi which to me is complete you know what. I can go any other place and it's totally free. But I did like the price and room. Plus there was no house keeping disturbing us like other places. That we're thankful for.

The hotel was great, the staff (except for one) was nice, the room was nice and clean, the location was amazing to Hershey Park. However, the bed was terrible, it was way too hard and I woke up stiff each morning. The rooms have doors for joining room access, and you can hear everything going on in the room next to you. The first night we stayed the family staying next to us came back to their room around 10pm while we were sleeping and they were so loud and obnoxious that they woke us up, we could hear everything they were doing in their room as if the door was open. It was awful, they woke my kids up they were so loud! I called in a complaint to the front desk and was told they can’t do anything until 11pm. The noise only got worse as the hour went on to the point it sounded like they were coming through our wall, they yelling, talking loudly, jumping off the beds, slamming the doors. My husband called the front desk and the lady that answered had an attitude and would not let us change rooms. She finally came down and knocked on the door next to us and totally threw us under the bus saying “your neighbors have called and complained twice, we need you to keep it down” the person who answered the door denied it was them and the front desk attendant believed her and went back to her room. The next morning the owner of the hotel approached my husband and I saying he was sorry and that the family making all the noise had left and that he himself heard them being loud and went to yell at them. So basically, the front desk attendant just did not want to do her job. The second night we stayed there was no noise coming from the next room, so we went to sleep peacefully but got woken up at 4am by the new guests checking into the room next door. They were not even being obnoxious but because the joining doors are not more sound proof or whatever the problem is, just their normal speaking voices made it sound like they were right next to us in our room! So short story long (lol) they need new and better doors in between the rooms, better beds and more pleasant overnight desk attendants.
