I found this place through Google maps. It was walking distance from our hotel and I honestly thought it was a Chinese restaurant. Instead it felt like I went back in time when the place kids would hang out at the soda shop. I didn't have reservations but we were able to dine at the bar. We were seated quickly and our order was taken right away. Loved the music, the atmosphere, the decor and the whole Max team. I especially loved my BBQ Burnt Ends. My husband ordered the Reuben sandwich and a beer. The portions we generous. The staff were friendly and made sure we were enjoying our experience. I would definitely recommend making reservations if you want a table. We however, quite enjoyed our meal at the bar.

Five out of five stars for the drinks and tots-- otherwise, not so hot. It's clean, the staff is great, but the food sadly didn't deliver. Our friends loved their boozy milkshakes. The waffles were comparable to hotel lobby. The biscuits and gravy can't compare to Shot & Bottle's. The chicken and waffles pale in comparison to Annie Bailey's. Our friend got the rice bowl that was on special and loved it. If you're here for quick eats at a diner, it's great. We'll be back for apps and drinks, but the food left us wanting more. Also, the menu breaks all design conventions and is rough to read.

Wow!!! My wife and I went here for dinner and were blown away. The cute ambiance and trendy atmosphere were just the beginning. The service was beyond our expectations and extremely friendly/accommodating and the food/drinks are literally what dreams are made of! I ordered the buffalo chicken/waffles main course and have been on cloud nine since then thinking back to it now. Not only were the portion sizes just right but the chicken was cooked flawlessly with every bite filled with a flavorful blend of buffalo sauce and a blue cheese creme drizzle and crumbles. The fluffy Belgian waffles served under the chicken were phenomenally light and airy with just enough sweetness to keep you craving more. Our adult mixed beverages were exclusively crafted and served with class and elegance, absolute perfection in every sip. I can't wait to go back here again! Don't miss out on this diamond of a restaurant, you won't regret it.

Cute joint for a casual meal. Atmosphere and staff were welcoming and fun. The drinks (mainly milkshakes - both with and without alcohol) take the stage here. The food was decent, but I've had better dinner food. I'd recommend the sandwiches, particularly the grilled cheese, which was awesome. The chicken and waffles were a bit disappointing - the waffles were soggy and the chicken tasted like frozen chicken strips you could get at the grocery store, though the spicy syrup was quite good. Overall, fun place to stop and visit, especially for a milkshake.

You should have a reservation Friday night through Sunday, very busy on weekends.
We sure do!
Tomato Bisque and a soup of the day.
There isn't! They have street parking only, though there are several parking garages close by.
Around $11, but you are getting a shake which is awesome with a cocktails worth of booze too! Totally worth it!
