Everything is the best. The only problem is parking. I think they only have 8 spaces for parking. The restaurant is located in a industrial park area. You might have to park down the street. The food and service is the best 👍. Parking, not so much. I go to that restaurant for breakfast on my way to Escondido. With gas prices the way they are, don't go unless you have other business in town. I had a avocado 🥑 veggie omelette and coffee. The coffee and omelette was one of the best I have had in a long time.

Discovered this cafe a few months ago and let me tell you, the food it's delicious 😋 I had a favorite local place to eat breakfast at but Home Sweet Home Cafe is now my favorite! Staff are friendly 💯 I love how they give your little ones a toy they can choose from. My kids love going there for that reason also bc of their delicious pancakes! One thing I loved about this place are their coffee mugs. Highly recommend this place if you want to try something new 😊

Visited this restaurant during a recent trip to Escondido to see my son in the Navy. I chose this after reading other reviews. When I first arrived, there was no parking to be had. Its in an industrial area. I drove down the street looking for other parking and there was no other place to park. I turned around and was going to locate another place to eat, but saw a vehicle that had just pulled out of their parking lot. We were immediately greeted and advised we could pick any open table we wanted. The wait staff was super friendly and fast. I had read another review that the biscuits and gravy were really good, and its one of my faviortie breakfast meals, so I ordered that. My daughter had a kids pancake with chocolate chips added. I ordered a coffee and an OJ. The OJ came out in a giant glass, way more than I would normally drink with coffee. For the $3 price for OJ, you definitely get a lot, but for me, just way too much. The biscuits and gravy was nothing special. It actually lacked flavor. They weren’t bad, they were just bland. I ordered hash browns instead of potatoes, and I tried to discern what was the creaminess of them. Wasn’t sure if it was the butter, or something else, it was very odd. They weren’t bad, just different. I asked for crispy bacon. The bacon was in fact cooked, but it was far from crispy. My daughter enjoyed her pancake. The place was decorated with country like decor. What I wasn’t impressed with is the wall of my booth table. As you can see in this picture, it’s dirty. Its not an appealing sight to see - especially during the current state of the world recovering from COVID.

YES and they work with uber eats and a few other delivery services
They were last week (april 15th 2020) but I would recomend giving a call.
Not true ! They have Chicken Fried Steak everyday ! They happen to have 2 kinds, Fresh and Big Wonderful Down Home Chicken Fried Steak, and then they also offer the frozen, easier to chew, processed kind. Take your pick. The Best Chicken Fried Steak around...
