I had a severe case of the COVID-19 virus . I was sent to Murrieta Rehab to get my strength back . I found trash on my dinner plate and I found a chip of black plastic in my breakfast cream of wheat . 99 percent of the staff were wonderful.

No one answers the phone at any extension. I have been trying to see my mother to check on her well being. She is supposed to be there getting care until she can be transferred to a skilled nursing facility. I would rate them as 0. Not being able to get any information is appallingly and very wearisome. I guess they don't care until the insurance quits covering her then she will be transferred yet once again.

Stay away. From the beginning it is almost impossible to get anyone to answer the phones. On one occasion i was there watching through the glass door as my call was ringing at the nurses station as they stood around and ignored the ringing. The 1st night there my wife's cell phone charger disappeared So i brought her a new charger and of course her cell phone was gone. The day she was discharged i was informed they had her cell phone and they would put it in her purse. When she arrived she was missing her phone and 2 chargers. Also a inflatable mattress that was delivered by a medical supply company was kept. I tried called and left numerous messages with the Directors of Nursing and Rehab. They never returned my calls. Not to mention my wife came home with black and blue marks all over her face. When they ignored her calls for assistance to use the toilet she tried to get there herself. She fell 3 times in 3 days. Some of the nurses were kind and helpful. Thank you to Renee in the 4th. The directors could learn something from her

I have had an exceptional experience within 30 minutes it felt like home. The employees treated me like a somebody and called me Mr Bruce I had visits from my dog which made me happy. I have had excellent care and got anything I needed. I learned to manage my diabetes and diet they taught and helped me. I have had total respect from all the employees and feel like I have made lifetime friends. I would give this place a 12 out of 10. I honestly feel I would enjoy life in here forever. Best Regards, Bruce Wayne Mathis
