Restaurant has had a great face-lift, and sat at their new bar tables. Even though well attended, not uncomfortable All staff friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Very gracious portions, great variety and yummy too.

I have to give Molly's two stars. I've read previous reviews and a lot of them are very good so I took my group of 20 people in there on Saturday and another 20 on sunday. Service was very slow. I would expect that if we just dropped in on them but we actually let them know we were coming in advance so they should have been prepared. On the second day which was Sunday again they knew we were coming and they were supposed to have the patio all set up for us but when we arrived about 5 minutes early nothing was set up. It took them about another 15 minutes to get the tables lined up and get the area ready. Their service for the most part was second grade. One of their servers was really nice and polite. The other two were very patronizing and somewhat rude. I realize it's hard when you have a lot of customers to serve all at once but you have to remember those customers are what pays your salary so you can't be grumpy and snappy with them. We had several of our people make comments and their comments were met with sarcasm and rude remarks in return. I'll be taking groups to San Juan Capistrano from San Diego every weekend for a while but we probably won't go back to Molly's. First impressions are everything.

We have been coming to Mollies for 2 years and the food was always good. We ate breakfast this morning and we could tell something was off. The ham steak was a cheaper cut, the potatoes were swimming in oil so I had to send them back. My husband ordered strawberry pancakes that had 2/3 less whipping cream and strawberries. We checked and found out there is a new owner. Unfortunate.

Updated 12/31/21 Enjoyed a New Years Eve morning breakfast with a friend. I had the Mollie's Country Breakfast, my friend had the Lobster and Seafood Eggs Benedict. Service was prompt, coffee was steaming hot, food was more than enough. Restaurant was packed by the time we left with a crowd waiting to get in. Whether you want a lite meal or a hearty breakfast, Mollie's does not disappoint. Mollies Famous Cafe is a fun little place that offers seating indoors or outdoors. Fabulous food, friendly, attentive service. The menu has a wonderful variety of options for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Large portions. A personal favorite is the turkey club sandwich, I add avocado to my order. Amazing! I have also enjoyed the Black Angus Burgers and Cobb Salad. There is something for everyone here.

They do have heaters, and they do serve liver and onions! It's a great restaurant!
No I don't believe they do
Seating is outdoors and distanced. Staff wears masks. Tables and other items are wiped down between customers.
