Happy bakery is a nice mom and pop shop in el monte. They made my grandsons 1st birthday cake(whole sheet) and facial cookies. The are very reasonable with their pricing. Good job happy bakery!

I like that this place will work with you in creating any type of cake you want them too. So as far as the outside of the cake in the matter of how it looks I am always happy. How ever the taste of the cake.... I had them do a cupcake cake to facilitate the experience and not have to worry about cutting and serving to people. This way people can pretty much just grab a cupcake and go. But I felt the cupcake consistency of the bread was really heavy. And it had a peculiar taste. I have always felt that cupcake bread should be light and fluffy. So yummy that it will make you eat 2 or even 3 cupcake and you don’t even realize it. But with these I realized I couldn’t even finish the cupcake. Would I buy from here again. I don’t know. Would I recommend this place. ? If you want a really nicely decorated cake and don’t care about the flavor then go for it. Price wise. They are fair and don’t break your bank.
