We started bringing our kids little over a year ago, and SDBJJ has been great for our them. Aside from the obvious boxing, jiu jitsu and judo skills they’re learning, their confidence and physical growth is through the roof. The various coaches and senseis are very supportive and while it’s a lot of work, they make it fun for the kids too. Paulo, his family, and staff make this place feel like home for many. Also, he’s really good with names…!

My family absolutely loves this place. We just moved to this state in July and This is the first time my son has ever express interest in jujitsu and has truly thrived because of his instructors. The owner and his wife are very sincere people. The instructors take their time to ensure that my child accomplishes the moves they have been shown and encourages the kids also. Even the parents at this facility are wonderful. Communication between instructors, kids and parents is wonderful. I couldn’t ask for a better experience!
