Great place for what I needed. Long term for work with a kitchen. Clean, quiet and good water pressure. Very kind owner’s.

We loved our stay! It's in the middle of nowhere, yes but the 2 rooms and full kitchen were perfect for our group! We were in town for the derby and it was right at 30 minutes from Churchill Downs. Not huge bedrooms but great deal for the price. You can tell that the owners care and are constantly doing renovations by my observations. (Tilework, wooden porxh/balcony/stairs seemed new or newly painted, plants outside were recently put in etc) About 10-15 minutes from the nearest town with fast food, restaurants etc so plan accordingly. Strip Clubs abound in the area (near Fort Knox) but there's also a rowdy country bar about 8 minutes away that's fun if you're looking for any sort of nightlife. Other hotel guests were quiet for the most part and we didnt see a lot of people hanging around outside. Do be aware that they charge extra for extra people, this wasn't clearly posted when we booked and had extra people come along at the last minute (total of 4, 2 kids, 2 adults. It was originally just my daughter and I but we both brought a friend). So that did seem a little odd, I would assume a 2 bedroom would assume 4 people but that wouldn't stop me from staying again, just wish that was posted clearer since it seems a little shady. The blankets and towels are ok, we ended up bringing in our own blankets for more comfort. And they do have very limited dishes. Dont rely on this though. There was a coffee pot but no coffee or coffee cups. Also wish this was made clearer since we got in at 2am and not able to get any at that late hour. Overall though, this seems like a nice family business, friendly, clean, spacious and appears they are continuously working on various improvements. I would definitely stay again! Thanks guys for having us!

Was very surprised at the room. Very satisfied with the cleanliness, size of the rooms. The attendant was very nice, friendly even delivered extra towels. The beds we're fairly comfortable, but not like my comfy bed at home. But still a great value. Next time I m near Ft. Knox I know where I am staying again.

First impressions: This place reminds me of a beach rental in a good way. For 1100 a month which is half the cost of value place and way better about booking a room you get a full kitchen, full living room and seperate bedroom. I love the kitchen and bathroom tiles, they put some work into them. You can also add a 2nd bedroom for 200 more. The rooms are clean and fully furnished. The furniture is decent and plentiful. The kitchen comes with a set of silverware, plates, kitchen sink caddy, some glasses and other kitchen essentials. I only wish parking was plentiful and that you had your own balcony. They have a coin laundry facility on site with a cute hang out room with a small kitchenette, couches, tv, treadmill and foosball and pool table. The staff is friendly. Theres a nice farmers market near by and a DQ. As a nice bonus there are a few nice sitting areas outside and each apartment has its own ash tray bucket. After a month of staying: On a last note:
