The bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly enough though didn't go out of their way to chat or anything. The whole vibe looks great in the photos but it's uncomfy and feels kind of like an unfinished basement with scattered furniture instead of cozy warm local speakeasy feels. I was recommended a drink and the fish and chips the drink was great they made it perfectly but the fish and chips had great potential except that the fries and fish were both way over done. It was like eating fish leather and dry potatoes. When they asked how it was I mentioned it was overdone and they said that's how it's supposed to be. Overall just kinda disappointed the reviews hyped it up and I expected a great experience. If you're looking for a better speakeasy experience I'd go to cease and desist or Volstead. Never had an uncomfortable time at either of those.

We decided to check this place out! Cool atmosphere and location in the basement. We just had libations and donuts 🍩 and both were yummy! We saw a lot of food people were ordering that looked fabulous. Service was great so we will definitely be back to have dinner.

Had a wonderful date night and enjoyed the amazing wing sampler and chicken sandwich with tasty drinks. The atmosphere is awesome and its a pretty cool date or hang out space. Dinner for 2 (app, 2 sandwiches, shared fries, 2 drinks, +tip) was about $100.

Exactly the atmosphere we were looking for. Casual, speakeasy with bartenders who know what they're doing. The kind of place you leave and can't believe it's still light out. And probably the best chicken burger I've ever had. We loved every minute of our time at the bar. Great discussion about Fernet Branca. :)
