We came to the garden after hearing about it for years. I'm disappointed that it's taken us so long. The grounds are beautiful, with plenty of little nooks to explore. I would imagine it's going to take many trips for us to really experience everything.

This is one of my favorite places in the Raleigh. It’s so beautiful and peaceful. I come here every time I am in town and take my time to walk around and enjoy.

Absolutely gorgeous even in coool November! The flowering trees and fall foliage are brilliant. There are still many flowers and the squirrels were busy everywhere. Peaceful and tranquil amid the giant trees and water feature. I will be back in late spring!! Plenty of benches and stone slabs to relax. Highly recommended!!

This place is awesome. Really cool that they allow, (with no questions asked) photographers to come in and enjoy free of charge. The world needs more people like them. Seems like an incredible place for venues and my imagination goes wild over wedding ideas ETC. Here's some photo's of when I went! All though, I suggest going in person. I had a blast!

Yes, I wouldn't think even the unpaved pathways pose a challenge. You and your Mom go enjoy the beautiful grounds!!
The garden is free and open to the public
