I go here almost everyday to get an icee however, today is was not working so I'm disappointed. Always have what I need. Close to my job and to the bus station.

Rude shift manager at night, rude staff (for the most part, with a couple of notable exceptions). Anyone appearing slightly disheveled with a backpack WILL be followed around the store as if shoplifting, no matter how much money is spent. Convenient location, a few professional-acting counter employees. But management could definitely use an overhaul. As in total replacement. The level of customer service has gone down drastically in the past couple of years. For many in downtown Raleigh, DGX is the only option for needed items. But the lack of a welcoming atmosphere means that I only go there when I absolutely have to. I've been a loyal customer for years, but you'd never know it by looking at how I'm regarded by management.

Great addition to downtown, you don't realize how much you need a store like this downtown until you don't have it. They carry all the essential items from food, to cleaning products, stationary supplies, baby items, and hygein products. I really miss having this store downtown and can't wait till it comes back.

You can’t beat the prices for even name-brand products. And the produce is usually very nice. Very convenient for all of us who live downtown — like a little neighborhood grocery. Very clean and tidy. Staff members are *usually* quite friendly. (Sometimes not so much.) But we’re so grateful that they go to work everyday!
