Been going here for 5 years. Thrift stores are hit or miss but this one never fails. I usually find some designer items too. The workers are Always helpful. Always busy

The manager was very professional when dealing with my complaint. Many stores need a manager like her that still cares about the customer

Catching up on reviews. Was here with a thrifting group on Saturday, 04-09-22. Found some good items both for my resale business and myself. Would visit again when in the area. Those Worthington snake skin flats were new with tag.

In August 2022 - I can finally say, someone at Salvation Army Thrift took to my corrective criticism and added 5 or 6 bikes next to the shoe rack. Around or before April 2022 - Turned into the biggest joke in Atlanta and a disgrace of a community development and resource thrift store! All they care about is overcharging for hand me down clothes and exploiting donations in an auction from 8am to 10am for some of the simplest things such as bicycles, computers and did players. Yet they can't lessen a entire store full of clothes to put some of this on the floor. Better yet they claim to help employ felons but use a temp agency app that won't consider you as an eligible candidate if you are a felon or don't pass a background check, but contradictory on their paper application they ask if you've been convicted of a felony within the pay year and state if you check yes this won't effect your employment eligibility. So its rather hypocritical of them and a lawsuit is sitting in their hands waiting to happen over the Equal Employment Act and civil rights. Use Goodwill and Value Village and other thrift stores that really do help others out, not one that makes money off false claims and statements.

I wish I had seen your question sooner.. As I'm sure you have figured out that you can get help from the Salvation Army, by now. For anyone else who sees this question...Yes, you can get help in situations like the aforementioned. You just need to call the main office.
