Take it or leave it. Husband is a disc golfer, pdga, been playing 10 years, 945 rated. This course was easy but also challenging for him. Easy because nothing is over 200 feet really but difficult because there are so many trees. And the Spanish moss will just grab your disc and hold on to it. Frustrating because it's such a small course you expect to absolutely dominate it so when the trees mess up your shots, it can be maddening. He logged three rounds in about 2 hours so it's quick to play. There are no garbage cans though which is why there is garbage and broken glass everywhere on the back of the course. And there are no bathrooms either. Even putting bug spray all over my legs I still got bit 9 times, there are definitely mosquitos. Also some horse flies. And when you land in the trees, you'll also probably want to wave a wand like Harry Potter to get the spider webs out of the way as there are many of those too. Great wildlife watching though. Pileated woodpeckers, blue jays, squirrels, toads, dragonflies, lizards, etc. There was shade on every hole so I could stay out of the sun for the most part while watching him play. The lady running the food hut at the beginning/end was really nice. The course was well laid out, especially for being the only ones playing. Some tee pads & fairways do criss-cross so I can imagine being in each other's way if there are other groups too. They definitely made use of the small space, fitting 18 holes worth trying in one area. Go gve it a try!
