From a area manager perspective this FC is in desprate need of better HR / Management. I quit after helping launch this building over a year ago, it was one of the best decision I've ever done. High turnover was a problem from the get go, but it got even worse. Expectation is constantly pushed on area managers to perform better with ridiculous rates and quite frankly it's not sustainable for Spokane. Not enough support provided to Area Managers, I ran shift without a PA (Process Assistant) for nearly 3months this ultimately led me to call quits. 10hr shifts was on contract, but on average it was close to 13hrs and no paid overtime for salary employees :( . If you value your time and personal health then I would not recommend working here. Never coming back to this prison... I mean FC.

If you performed well, they will give you write up for your stowing etiquette not being perfect. If you followed stowing etiquette you will get talked down and another write up as to why you're not stowing 2000 items every half hour. 70% of managers are female/ horrible and shouldn't be in leadership positions. They love to pick male on minorities. Either way you're ducked. Good luck, you will need it.

The pay difference is 2 dollars more than your base pay, and I'm pretty sure you would talk to HR, tell them your needing to switch and or just apply the same way you did for the job you have and go through that process, since your already an employee I'm sure you wouldn't have to go through all the new hire and first day.
Check your email you will have to do an online video before your first day so it usley it's two to 3 weeks to start all depending on what day and time they told you at your drug test

You have to go to the amazon website I believe and from what I've heard is that they have only posted jobs for 6 or 8 management and it type jobs. But you just have to check out amazons website to get better details.
It's not clear if they are accepting applications on site. The company is very automated, after all. Best to go to Amazon.com, and look at the bottom of home page for a link to Careers or About the company, on which there is link to Careers/ Jobs. Also, check Monster.com and Indeed.com; search in Spokane area for jobs at Amazon. Good luck.
