Phenomenal food, drinks & service. Everyone at the table thought their dish was one of the best they’d had in a while. When you’re at the coast you want the seafood to be the best & it is. The loss of a star is for the acoustics in the small space made it very difficult to carry a conversation which was important when you’re with friends you haven’t seen in a long time.

Small, nice restaurant with good food and an eclectic decor. The salmon and seafood ravioli was tasty. The peach crumble a la mode was very good. Four stars instead of five because the bread wasn't good, the butter was too cold to spread on the cold bread, the floor in the hallway to the restrooms was sticky, and there were no paper towels in the ladies room. Might be slightly overpriced, but overall good.

ONE OF MY TOP Favorites in MHC.....Small and Intimate with a Chef that just gets it.....I love that he cooks within dietary restrictions PLUS is creative. The Carrot Coconut Soup with Sesame Seeds was off the Chain and the Salmon from the Scottish Farro Islands Divine.

I dined with my kids, husband, and parents during summer. This is a small, eclectic spot on the Morehead City waterfront serving pizza, Thai, and American food. I recommend reservations in summer, because seating is limited. All of our food was delicious and cooked to temp. My husband's burger was properly medium rare. My mother declared the pork loin the best she'd ever had. The chicken in my pad Thai was juicy and not overcooked, though the dish was a little spicy for my taste. My daughter's pizza was crispy and smothered with cheese. There is no kids' menu, but there is a side dish of pasta marinara available, and of course there is pizza (1 size). When we go back next summer, I will skip the Thai and go for the farm-to-table cuisine. This is a lovely addition to Morehead City, and we look forward to returning.
