My daughter applied for an apartment, with that being said you are supposed to do a check on every 90 days. My daughter has called over and over, and left multiple voicemails(that were never returned). Finally was able to talk to Kelly today after calling multiple times and was advised she is no longer on the wait list as she didnβt βtalkβ to anyone. Nothing on the Voicemail indicates this whatsoever, it does say that someone will get back within 24 hours, but no one ever called her back. So now because Kelly canβt do her job, she is no longer on the wait list.

Both my 92 year old mother and my wife, after having surgeries received medical devices (wheel chair, walker, cane) for as long as they needed them. The deposit was returned when goods returned, staff was wonderful cannot express our appreciation enough

General: Always helpful. However, a powerful sense that you are a statistic and not a person can occasionally come over you. Services: They offer lots of useful services. Showers, laundry, vouchers, random food, lunch, breakfast, coffee, general delivery of mail, stand-in address proofs, housing assistance, and shelters. Atmosphere: Feels like 1996 still in the office. Monochromatic office furnishings pervade, punctuated by human traffic. There's a resident-apparent canine which is very friendly and hum-drum. Impact: This place and its impossible rules within the Transitional Housing division led to the termination of my marriage and the division of my family. The schedules and burdens implicit in the agreements were wholly incompatible with our family culture and bore the threat of social services at every step. If you can, avoid shelters and transitional housing. It should be seen as a final resort. No one person did anything wrong, it's cultural. It's systemic. Good luck. Conversely, St. Vincent's has been an enormous benefit to me since I got to Idaho. I am indebted on some level to their generosity and constancy.

I think they do, but depending on your circumstances and so forth they can only do so much.
Not sure if anyone is going to see this but I'm homeless in need of a place to stay that's safe
Just come to any of our locations, we can help you with that. Jist go to any of our cashiers. We will be happy to get you started. Thanks for asking.
I would call them and ask them how it works!!!
Call Saint Vincent DePaul help center for availability at the shelter!!!
Our Help Center is currently seeing people by appointment. Please call the front desk if you are in need of services. 208-664-3095. Service animals are welcome at the Help Center.
The Help Center doesn't have beds but it runs a couple of programs and shelters that do. Each program meets the needs of different groups in our community. Some programs have openings and many do not. Some have waiting lists. I do know they have funding coming from different resources at different times and many of those are grants so your best bet is to go in after this virus settles to meet with a worker. They're so caring and helpful. You May qualify for one or more of their programs and maybe even find something fast... there are teams of people working the best possible way that they can and seem to be personally vested in helping our community.
Please try to call again. 208-664-3095 Thank you, Janet
