I was just a broke guy up against false charges. A conviction would mean" three strikes" for me as i have admittedly not been the most savory citizen of kootenai county .Ive Had public defenders on numerous occasions due to my own negligence. Never had a state attorney spend more than ten minutes on me ( I know they're busy as you can tell with the amount of files that walk into the courtroom with each day that the state places on them ). Not this time. I was assigned Jay Logdson with the Idaho public defender's office. Remarkable is an understatement for the work that he's done for me through trial and every aspect of this case. I've been in court a lot ,seen a lot of performances. It was amazing to watch and lifesaving in the most literal sense . Thank you mister !!!

Go to the Kootenai County Courthouse and fill out an application or call them and ask for an application for a public defender to be sent to you. Fill it out and return it and you should have a response fairly quickly.
