The atmosphere is gloomy but the food we had was good. I don't know about the authenticity tho, but me and my family enjoyed our orders. The meat was so tender and tastes good.

Great little family restaurant featuring food from Guatemala, El Salvador, Mexico, and Honduras. The menu from each country is limited but that keeps it special instead of trying to excel at everything. I ordered the Mole Veracruzano and plantains. The chicken breast was so tender that it fell apart. The sauce had more spice than I expected. (I'm from Texas so my expectations for their interpretation was low but they exceeded amazingly.) The plantains were perfect if you like ripe plantains. Don't forget the crema! I'm glad I stopped by and found this hole-in-the-wal restaurant.

My student told me I should visit this place for the golden tacos. I picked up the phone and called in the order excited to have a specific item recommended. The call was quick and pleasant. My food was scheduled for pick up in 10 min and waiting at the counter when I showed up in 8 minutes. I paid and left in less than 2 minutes. The place was empty. I carried the golden tacos home and they were good. I would say great but I am not accustomed to this food and am not sure I could compare it to anything as I’ve never had it before. I can say the staff is nice and quick and my food was good.
