Not only did My makeup come out gorgeous, she was very knowledgeable and shared many tips and took the time to teach me about the products she used on me today. All of my experiences at this Sephora have been good up until my last visit. I was on a hunt for a new concealer and one of the workers (a middle aged blonde lady) offered to help me find the right one for me. We tested about 3 brands before I found the one I liked with the perfect shade. (It was by Lancome in shade Ivorie Cool) We both agreed that it matched my skin tone the best. So she leaves to grab me one in that shade. After she gives it to me I thank her and was genuinely grateful for her help. As I'm standing in line for checkout, I glance at it to make sure it's the correct shade...and it wasn't. It was Ivorie Warm. I thought she must've made a mistake so I walk over to the Lancome section to find my shade which turns out they were completely out of. So instead of letting me know they were out of that shade, she decided to give me a completely different one that we tested out and didn't work for me. I am cool toned and she knew that, but she gave me the one in a Warm shade hoping I wouldn't notice and purchase it. I tried to talk to her but as soon as we made eye contact she turned around and made a beeline to the backroom. Anyway I'll probably be going to Ulta from now on 🤷🏻‍♀️ I thought I was getting genuine help but all she really cared about was the number of her sales. I felt played and didn't appreciate it one bit.
