My first experience here was less than ideal. I walked in went to the copies and scans desk and asked the associate if I could have some copies made of a flyer. She looked at me, didn’t say a word, and acted like she was confused. I then repeated myself, to which she responded again with a blank & confused stare. She then pointed at another associate who is in the back doing something else. When that associate responded, the other girl continued to read a book. (and yes, she did in fact work there because she was in for employee attire). Bottom line, associates really weren’t that nice or warm.

Stopped by on my lunch break to buy a pencil sharpener and a binder waited 10ish min in the check out line while the cashier and another person where just chatting so I went to the print counter to see if I could check out there they couldn't so the only option was go back to listening to the cashiers conversation about phone numbers and how random they are or just put my stuff down and try to get back to work before my lunch break is over

Left a survey response from their receipt and asked for a call back. It's been nearly a month and nothing from Staples. I'm going to share my experience with others now: I called Store 635, 2624 North Division Rd on 4/12/22 around 12:30 pm pst to ask about express printing services. Spoke to Mat and he said they weren't that busy and he could immediately print me 10 copies (8 pages each) of my business product wholesale guide. I showed up at the store around 1:00 pm pst and spoke to a female (no name tag, wearing glasses with brown hair) and showed her what I was needing to copy. I emailed her the digital .pdf file to the marketing staples email and gave her a sample of what I wanted printed for my business product to look like. I said I usually go to the North Spokane store (Newport Highway) and this is what they did for me as I showed her the product. I said I think it is 28 lbs. paper but just make it the same. I continued shopping for office supplies for my business and came back about 10 minutes later to get the finished product. Upon review, the margins were different than the sample I gave her. The paper was thinner and my photos in my wholesale product guide were not as clean as Staples has done before (multiple times in WA and MT). Mat, assisted me at this point and said I should "just go to the North store next time." I said excuse me, I'm a paying customer and I don't like the way this looks. He said, "well we can't get this exact off of a copy and he needed a digital file." I said I emailed it to the female working and gave her a physical copy to ensure it was done the same. He proceeded to argue with me instead of helping me. I said I was in a hurry, why I did the express service, and if he could just discount this one, they did it would be fine. Customers were in the store looking at both of us. It was embarrassing to be treated that way. I never raised my voice, I did not cuss, belittle; nothing. I said, "wow, I can't believe this, I can't wait to get the survey to talk about this." He then said, “we’ll I'll just give it to you for free.” I didn't care about it being free and said I would pay for it. I wasn't even asked for my phone number for my loyalty points upon paying for my office supplies (which I was very reluctant to do). I will never go back to Staples, probably not even my home store in North Spokane because of this. I have plenty of options to find a local company that can print my business materials and buy my office supplies from. I'm a newer business in the area and to be treated this way is absolutely unacceptable.

I was coming down the aisle to find a sales associate on the floor, when I was approached by the manager, Richard. He offered to help me find the printer I have been desperately searching for, for months. Richard went over the top to help me look in every avenue he could to see if the product was available. AND fortunately for me Richard was able to locate the model I was searching for in ID. SO beyond excited, I told him I would drive down there immediately if he could put a hold on it. But instead took it upon himself to call the store to get it delivered to save me the drive. I was willing to pay for the shipping, because of the find!! I want to give him a HUGE shoutout for going the extra mile to help me locate this specific printer, and for the GREAT customer service he provided me! Richard was so helpful, and treated me with the utmost respect. I truly appreciate the moment he came up and offered his assistance. He has no idea what he just helped with, and I am so VERY thankful for the help he provided. Thank you Richard for assisting me, and locating the printer I've been searching for, for months now. YOU ROCK! And I hope you great the praise you deserve. ;) FIVE STARS FOR RICHARD!!

Any Staples should have it in their Retail Supplies section.
