My son and I went to Mt. Hermon adventures to have some fun in the trees. Our guides were Sydney and Nick (they were FANTASTIC) Apparently Mt. Hermon started as a Christian Camp. After going to the adventure with Sydney and Nick, I would now like to send my kids to the camp. Sydney and Nick were so nice and polite. I want my kids to experience this in their camp so hopefully next year, we will have the opportunity to join their Christian bible study camp for a week. Sydney and Nick were very professional and explained all the safety gear we were using. After that, they let us go up into the trees to "dare" ourselves to try the courses. Some where very challenging and some were fairly easy. After going today, we are thinking of going again so my youngest son can give it a try. It was very fun.

Been here before for thier Redwood Canopy Zipline tour. One of the best zipline tours I've been too. Beautiful scenery and get teachings in our tour guide, learned alot. Going back for their Sequoia Aireal Adventure course. Wish me luck.🤞🏼

Zip lining was SO fun!! I hadn’t gone before and I loved this place. Bailey was so knowledgeable and sweet and knew I was a little nervous. Both guides learned everyone’s names and both Bailey and Jack were really nice. You get a “bunny hill” zip line at ground level so you get the feel of it before you go on the course. HIGHLY recommend!! I shed a tear for how beautiful the views were. Bailey is doing a cool trick in the first photo :)

Both Jonathan and Emma were great guides. Had an amazing time and will definitely come back in the future.

Hi👋🏻 One of my friends weighs 72 pounds but is way over the height limit. Would he still be able to do the ropes course???

Brett Hodson | Aug 23, 2018
Mariah Bevard | Aug 23, 2018

Actually it is important they be the minimum weight, otherwise on the ziplines they won't be able to make it across.

Do you only have the tour/adventure? Do you have zip lines that guests can go on without reservations?

Ruby Brewer | Aug 22, 2021
Mount Hermon Adventures | Aug 22, 2021

Hi Ruby, thanks for your question. All tours require a reservation and with our limited capacity right now due to COVID it’s best to reserve a bit in advance. Thanks!

Is there a limit on age ?

Terri Markey | Aug 23, 2019
Mount Hermon Adventures | Aug 23, 2019

Hi Terri! Great question-- we have no upper age limit, but every participant must be at least 10 years old for our Redwood Canopy Tour or Sequoia Aerial Adventure. Everyone must also weigh in between 75 and 250 lbs, and be at least 52 inches tall.

I have a friend who is 6'2" and 300lbs. He wouldn't be able to participate, would he?

Christian Lossow | Aug 23, 2019
Mount Hermon Adventures | Aug 23, 2019

Hi Christian, Unfortunately, you are correct, your friend would not be able to participate. All guests must be between 75-250 lbs. and we do weigh people upon checking in. Thanks for reaching out and clarifying.

Is the quick jump on the 3rd stage of the course? And can I do everything on the 3rd stage without doing the quick jump? Thanks!

Yes, but they don't force you to jump

What do u do with your valuables? Is there a place for anybody to stay that isn't zip lining .

Anthony Bambino Jr | Aug 23, 2018
Mount Hermon Adventures | Aug 23, 2018

We recommend either placing them in your vehicle or we have small locked baskets for wallets, keys, etc. For people that aren't zip lining they are welcome to relax in our adventure center (in the AC!) where we have snacks and drinks available, or outdoors in the sunshine. There is also a great hiking trail that parallels the zip tour.

Whats the minimum age to do most of the activities? My daughter is 6 years.

Hemanshu Ahuja | Aug 23, 2018
Robert Ankeny | Aug 23, 2018

I saw kids in their early teens there. 6 might be too young as tha course i went on required you to transfer to and from wires above your head which could be too tall for a 6 year old. They may have other courses more suitable. You should give them a call.

Do you have to do the drop in the Sequoia Aerial Adventures? Everything looks fine up until that platform drop! (Eeeek!) Can anyone confirm if there is another route so you don't have to do the drop? Thanks!

Jake Abbott (jaketheadventurer) | Aug 23, 2018
Donny Cobb | Aug 23, 2018

No you do not have to do the drop. The drop is an optional activity. And it is at the end of the tour when you are feeling more comfortable with the challenges. It is fun though!

Do you need an id

Humberto Perez | Aug 23, 2018
Mount Hermon Adventures | Aug 23, 2018

We will just need the name of the person who made the reservation and the names of people going on the tour who have signed the digital waiver so we can make sure they are linked to the reservation. ID will not necessarily be needed. I hope that answers your question. Thanks

What do you wear?

Joshua Ridder | Aug 23, 2018
Will Brinkerhoff | Aug 23, 2018

Hiking clothes with closed toe shoes and layer for the weather.
