The people who deliver the meals are very kind and friendly people. But, 80% of the meals are atrocious. I think there may be one part- time cook down there who knows her stuff because sometimes we get a very good well balanced meal. But, it's a rare occurrence. Mostly the meals are little better than slop. Half cooked rice and under cooked/raw frozen veggies come with most meals. The ingredients are cheap as you can get; cheap frozen chicken patties, hot dogs and cheap canned chili. Today I had what they call "chicken pot pie." It consisted of a soaked, mushy biscuit with chicken gravy with bits of canned chicken served over half cooked rice. The veggie was over cooked broccoli, and a half of a canned pear for dessert. Only the pear was edible.

Everyone is so awesome and sweet there! I love to go there and play bingo every Monday and Thursday night. Joy the person who runs it is just a doll and is always willing to help a new person feel welcome.
