The Pastor Walter's and His wife are amazing caring people! God works through them 2 and it really shows. Every 2 weeks is a pantry day he gives ots of food to people. I attend this church and participate as a volunteer on pantryday. This is so rewarding to do and Lloyd and Beverly are always greatful to recieve the help.

I was treated very rude. I had asked for help becuase I am in a very bad situation financialy and at the time food stamps cut me off. I had to have food and I asked a lady i met from that church at the grocery store if they had a food pantry. Yes she got food for me, but when she arrived she didnt just drive up into my drive way she honked loudly and drove up into my yard putting ruts in it not coming to the door not being polite, she looked at my house as if i bought the thing, i felt very small at this pont. My parents left me the house when they died or i'd live in the streets. Not everything is as you assume. I told the pastor i felt uncomfortable with people coming to my house except family, noting more than this cancer and bad diabetes making me feel so bad my house isnt in order. Im very private too. I asked the pastor when the food was given out and what their church times were, he never responded. I dont know what this lady I met told the pastor, but I resent being treated like this. I wanted to get to know her and fellowship but her response was 'OOOOOOKAY" as if she was indirectly telling me she didnt want to talk to me fo rreasons i dont understand. I'd love to come to the food closet and store they have and get to know the pastor, but he wont opt to meet me at dairy queen or the bbq place to talk, what's the big deal? im private and something was said about me that made the pastor not want to speak to me or respond. So be it, I know god knows my situation and you cant ever judge a book by it's cover things arent always as you make it and a person's life may look good and all, but behind the scenes it's hell.
