This review is an edit from 6 month ago from today, 07/05/2022-combining a thorough unprofessional experience, both Medical and Dental: Medical; 1.) Miss-spelled last name first time through, despite using the NATO alphabet. It took a few months for it to get sorted from their system. Okay, inconvenient sure but whatever; 2.) Was charged 3x the amount per each of my two prescriptions because they did not consult my insurance prior; 3.) Was demanded that I make monthly follow-up appointments with their doctor in order to continue receiving my prescription medication. This doctor is only a licensed physician's assistant, as they do not have MD's at their location in Moscow. That particular prescription is not a scheduled substance or dangerous and had been taking it for well over a month at that point. They threatened to cut off access to this medication if I did not make monthly visits, which I explained I could not afford even with their sliding scale program. Left Chas for medical after this and found a much better doctor who haven't made any of these mistakes and I have no co-pay with my insurance. Dental; Blue Sky is my original dentist. I have no co-pays for cleanings, exams, x-rays, or fillings. I was told I needed an extraction and was shown the x-ray of the tooth-the dentist was very detailed and pointed out the obvious mild infection and minute crack in that tooth; that tooth had a prior root canal from 10 years ago, and I've had unknown symptoms of the infection that would come and go, which lined up with my dentist's opinion. He agreed an extraction would be the best course of action. The out-of-pocket cost quoted for the extraction, was a little too much there. I decided to consult Chas and this is what happened: Called for an estimate for the extraction; was quoted a better rate. The gal transferred me to the dental office to schedule an appointment. Was told to transfer paperwork and imaging from Blue Sky to Chas; was told that the dentist would call me if she did not receive this BEFORE my appointment. The gal said she made a note on the file and sent a message to the dentist about it as well. Immediately after, I requested the transfer of documents from Blue Sky to Chas. Day of the appointment, a little over a week later, no phone call from dentist meaning everything is ready to go for the extraction. I go in and it becomes quite the opposite; 1.) Claimed they never received paperwork-told them they were supposed to call me and that there was both a note and a message to the dentist regarding this fact; 2.) Coerced into getting another set of x-rays; 2 for that single tooth. They claimed they'd need to do it anyways-lie #1; 3.) Dentist arrived and attempted to coerce me into getting a root canal instead; argued with her 5 times saying "I would rather get an extraction" while she argued back "you don't need, I give you root canal"; 4.) She asked me to look at the tooth and proceeded to hit it and knock around at it with her metal tools, rather roughly. I felt nothing, because a root canal...hello? ; 5.) She poked at my gums around the affected tooth extremely hard, hurting me and causing me to wince in pain; 6.) Proceeded to claim tooth is not infected. Lie #2. Continued to pressure me into a root canal still. I stood firm on an extraction, she told me to schedule another appointment for that. I did at the office because I was so fed up and just wanted to get it over with. Called back after going home and cancelled the appointment-scheduled it with Blue Sky instead. 7.) Today, 07/05/2022; discovered they charged me for the failed visit that they messed up; on top of that, they're attempting to charge me the same amount I paid for my extraction at Blue Sky as a copay for their unprofessional and minor services that my insurance covers, per my insurance, AND that I did not want or need and attempted to prevent in the first place. I made a case to remove the charge. I reported it to my insurance as well. I am also submitting an insurance fraud claim. Never again will I bother with this scummy practice.

Broke a tooth and was in severe pain, called Monday morning, they got me in at 11 and I was out of pain by noon! They were busy, but I never had to wait more than 5 minutes for anything...they handled the flow of patients wonderfully! The dental assistant and dentist (both female) were very nice and made me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend this office!

I was in severe pain when I called this dental office, and they got me in as soon as possible. Dr. Guess was friendly, knowledgeable, gentle and kind. The next morning they were able to get me in to have the work done. Dr. Guess did a great job both identifying the problem and taking care of me. I would highly recommend this office and will return for care in the future.

Never had a problem at this office and to be honest I’m surprised to see all of the negative reviews. Monday I had to have all of my upper teeth extracted. The staff worked around my schedule and the time restrictions I had due to my job. Dr Pattern and his assistants were AMAZING! He had some of the best bedside manner I’ve ever seen in a dentist and had a very calming presence about him. He made sure I was as comfortable as I could be. Not that I ever want to have that many teeth extracted ever again, but if I had to do it again this is definitely where I would go. Thank you for giving me my life back you guys. You don’t even know what you’ve done for me.
