First time trying the Olympic, was thoroughly impressed with the service and food. Will be returning if I'm ever back in Greensboro.

Unfortunately I have not had a good experience here on several occasions. The food is good but not so with the hostess and one waitress. I am African American, and on my second time arriving during dinner, the hostess proceeded to try to sit me in the very back of the restaurant, while passing 2 or 3 empty booths. I indicated I needed a seat up closer. (I think that I was one of two African Americans in the packed restaurant. ) During that same visit I proceeded to order from the senior citizens menu (I was 63 at the time and the menu is for age 62 and over) The waitress gave me a funny look and asked me what my age was. Evidently she thought that I was being deceptive? Hmmmm, would this had been asked if I had been white? On two later occasions, the same hostess, an elderly lady with a ponytail proceeded to try to sit other (white), customers before me, after I had entered first, and had been waiting patiently. I let her know. I am a very patient person, but the racism is very apparent there. I plan to write to the manager about this.

This place is fantastic, and the owner is there working alongside his employees, doing any task needed and at a fast pace. They are literally on top of everything you need and do not forget the small things either. Very good food, from steaks, chicken, meatloaf, several types of fish, shellfish, and home-style, Southern cooking and vegetable platters, including turnip greens, pinto beans, okra, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, garden salads and more. Prices are very competitive. As an example, I had marinated chicken, which was very moist and tender, mashed potatoes and gravy, fried okra and broccoli, with a choice of cornbread or bun, at a cost of $12.99.i needed a carryout box, as the food was plentiful. This place is usually very busy, but it truly runs like a well-oiled machine. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!

Sat down with the Patriot guard riders, after a honor service, for a meal we had 7 members at our table, food was fast. Hot and it was delicious, good home cooking. I got the steak and cheese sub and it was great I'm stuffed, hats off to the cook , the owner and the wait staff, my glass was always filled up, with a smile, thank you!!!!! For taking care of us .

They stagger table seating
The one in Colfax is closed on Sundays but the one in Kernersville is open on Sundays.
They might even have their menu on their website.
