We took my toddler nephew for his first haircut and had the best experience we could've wished for. Ari listened to my sister's wants and even made a point to put aside some hair for her. He was very patient with my nephew. Playful, swift yet cautious. Great friendly service and the haircut was exactly what my sister wanted. We definitely recommend him for toddler haircuts.

I have always been a "great clips/super cuts" guy. But I'm a changed man! A barber shop is the new me! Not only is this a family run shop, but I've only ever gotten exceptional service! They have a new barber, Mel's grandson, and he took his time with my cut and ensured I was happy with it. He was friendly and made me feel at ease instantly. My hair looked fresh and I got tons of compliments, but my favorite part was the care and attention that I received. 10/10 would recommend!!!

worst barbershop I’ve ever been too. Mel couldn’t keep his hands steady and my hair was patchy and uneven all over. On the other hands, mels grandson has no training and does not know what he’s doing at all. There’s a college right in corvallis he should consider learning some new skills from them cause hair cutting isn’t gonna work out for him.

Had a great first experience at Mel's, a third generation family barbershop. Gen 3, aka Brady, cut my hair and did a fine job, just the way I like it. Chatted for a while afterwards with Brady and his dad Ari, and they are just nice friendly welcoming folks. I now have a new barber, and couldn't be happier. These are the type of small business folks you just really want to see succeed.
