What a great dinner! We had the deviled eggs, the steak and two desserts! Service was amazing and food extremely satisfying!

We loved our experience at Vivian! We had a seat in the window and it was perfect to enjoy our drinks, food and watch the world go by. The pastries were light and fluffy. The deviled eggs were define, perhaps the best I have ever had. The lox was super fun and in a preparation that is like no other. Then we finished off with our mains of the smoked lamb eggs Benedict and quiche. The quiche was very flavorful and the lamb brought a nice touch to the dish. Highly recommend getting a side of potatoes if it doesn’t come with your dish. The owner is absolutely delightful and will likely be there to greet you. Great little gem in the arts district!

Sunday Brunch was incredible. An unusual menu with items that seem familiar turns into a visual and taste sensation. The prices are so reasonable I felt guilty receiving such large portions. The staff were also attentive and timely.

Highly recommended, if you are in Asheville you must stop by! It was one of a few restaurants we tried when we visited Asheville and it was absolutely my favorite! The space was super industrial chic but small. The drinks were amazing, especially the Julia child martini. But the food!! We were a group of 6 so we were able to order a lot of items to share. We ordered basically everything on the appetizer and shareable menu as well as every single dessert. I’m literally drooling as I think about the food again 🤤 My favorites were the lobster scallop shareable, the smoked oysters and the crab soufflé. The desserts were all amazing and if you can’t get all of them I would definitely recommend the cake and strawberry Napoleon. The service was impeccable and the chef even came out at the end of the meal to thank us for coming in and offer a complimentary digestif since we ate an astonishing amount of food. Price ended up cheaper than we expected at about $100 per person where we ordered an excessive amount of food and each ordered 3-4 drinks. We thought it was amazing value. But hey, we live in nyc so there’s that.

What are the Covid safety practices like here?

Hey there, we take COVID very seriously and have a variety of safety measures in place. Our outdoor patio is partially wrapped to defend against the cold, but has a large, open airflow door to keep air constantly circulating (we also have heaters for warmth). Indoors we have an ionizing filtration system installed in our HVAC that kills 98% of all pathogens. All tables in and out are 6 feet apart and at this time we are only allowing parties of 4 or less. All guests are required to wear masks when not seated at their table and we ask that guests mask up when food is being served or cleared from their table. All staff wears masks and gloves; with gloves being changed after any contact. After a guest is through dining the table and all chairs are sanitized throughly. Additionally, doors, restrooms, and other areas with high traffic are regularly sanitized throughout the shift. We've to the hang of it where we can do all this but still keep your experience comfortable and fun!
