I really enjoyed my site. It had a great view! It was close to the beach too. It had a nice play structure and a big field. My stay was really good! :)

We really enjoyed our stay at the Honey Bear and it was close to the ocean. We were able to go across the 101 to get to the beach, which was great. The property itself it huge and beautiful! The downside is that most of the RV spaces feel a bit random, pretty tight on room, and appear to need some maintenance. Tent sites on the other hand - WOW! This might be one of the most unique tent places I have ever seen. A tent camper’s paradise! Overall a very lovely location, but feels a bit run down. Sites have lots of weeds, lack gravel upkeep, and it took 4 blocks on one side to level. The layout feels confusing and some sites face each other, which is uncomfortable if not traveling with someone else. All that said, we really enjoyed our stay and thought the location was fantastic and would stay again. The reason for the 3 stars is mostly for appearance. The back loop by huckleberry pond has the most room, by far, of all the RV sites. (pictured below) Thank you for hosting us and we would absolutely return.

Humbug Mt State Park was full, so we headed South to this place. It is a beautiful campground, but it does have some downfalls. Sites are VERY close together and it is very expensive. Almost $70 a night. Make sure you mention Good Sam and Military for discounts. Grateful we got a spot for the night, but it did come at a price.

Very impressed with this campground! Beautiful grounds with wooded sites, ponds, and some short walking trails. Easy access from 101, but no road noise. Only the sound of the distant ocean waves! There’s a walking path connecting the campground to the beach about 400 feet long, but you have to cross the access road and 101, so be careful. Facilities were clean and well cared for with hot showers. Shampoo/soap was not included, so need to take your own if you use their showers. Would definitely (and probably will) stay here again as it’s MUCH nicer than the other RV parks and campgrounds around Gold Beach. Being a few miles (8-ish) from Gold Beach, it’s fairly secluded with not a lot of restaurants/stores in the immediate area, so be aware of that if it matters to you.

Yes! They have some REALLY COOL sites with power and water for smaller vehicles. Also they have tent camping all the way up to big rig pull throughs.
Prices vary based on which section of the campground you are in and what service connections/hookups you'll use. There are ocean view sites as well. Call them! They will discuss options with you and determine your site cost. They also honor certain club/membership discounts. Again, for accurate rate quotes call them! There are too many variables. Their rates are very reasonable! Services are awesome!
I think so,I don't know for sure.i do know that they closed the restaurant they had there.

Our family had a very private tent site at Honey Bear. The kids had a great time and we loved camping there. Showers were well kept and very clean. Owners and staff were friendly and accommodating. We would stay again.
5 minute walk. It's a great campground and beautiful sunsets by the ocean.
This isn't the Honey Bear website. Better call them to make reservations. Go here: https://www.honeybearbythesea.com
Please call us for details. Thx! 541.247.2765
Is it is a little smoky here today but better than Saturday. It depends on which way the wind blows.
