*Update* As of my last August 2019 visit, Burger King was now open in the Food Court. There's a Red Robin Burgers within the mall. , McDonald's on the outer portion of the parking lot. Probably around 5 minutes from mall entrance, walking. And soon to be Burger King in the Food Court of the mall. But as of this writing, it is listed as "coming soon" with a big Burger King sign.

We are in the same boat as I too use a cane. The mall is uniquely designed as there is a short cut which you can cut the distance in half as well as numerous rest stations and massage chairs liberally distributed throughout destinations. Everything is handicap friendly.

Family room? Not sure what that means, but it is a great place for families. There are numerous areas with couches to sit and relax. Also play areas for the little ones with sitting for the parents. You can rent strollers, plenty of food choices and every store you can imagine is there. They even have a mobile gas service that will fill your tank while you shop. Very impressive mall.
