Home Helpers offer superb service, caring support and comforting peace of mind. A professional executive staff manage a large team of experienced caregivers who help with the many needs of their clients. I have been blessed with one of their caregivers for three happy years and now feel younger, healthier and more secure than ever before.

What can I say. If it wasn't for Peggy and her staff at Home Helpers I don't know what I would do with the care of my elderly mother. They are always positive and upbeat which helps my mother emulate the same positive attitude. The people at Home Helpers are amazing I can't say enough about all of the help they have given me and my mother, and continue to do so even when last minute emergencies crop up.

Although we strive for a perfect fit every time, there are situations where the client/caregiver relationship fails to develop as expected. If you would like us to coach the Caregiver to be more in line with your wishes, we will do that, otherwise, we will find you a replacement. We always want you to be happy and comfortable with your Caregiver.

Will I have the same caregiver each time?

It is in your best interest, and ours, that we assign the same caregiver to all of your shifts. There may be a substitute sent if your primary caregiver is sick or needs time off. For full-time care, we may have two people assigned each week to ensure full and reliable coverage.

Am I required to commit to a minimum number of hours per day or per week?

We have a daily minimum of 4 hours, and a weekly minimum of 20 hours. We will work with you to develop the best schedule to suit your needs. We provide care up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I've never had a caregiver. How does it work?

Our caregivers are there so that you can remain independent in your home. We will develop a care plan together, and you are always in charge of the overall scope and tasks that we will provide. The care plan can change as your needs change. Our caregivers will carry out the duties that are included in your care plan. They can prepare meals, take you to appointments, help with bathing and getting dressed, do some light housework or simply provide companionship, if that is all you want. It is completely up to you.

Does it cost anything to set up an introductory meeting with you?

No! There is never a charge to have us come out and meet you. It is important for you to meet us face-to-face in order to feel confident in our ability to provide care for you or your loved one.
