I witnessed a Caregiver not doing her job today. One of your Caregivers brought one of your Clients to get her hair done. The Caregiver brought her in the Salon and just left. I had to help the Client out of the wash chair and help her walk across the Salon. I had to help her in the hair cutting chair. She was dizzy and extremely shaky. I got her water. I again, had to help the client to the nail station. The Caregiver came back right when the Client was ready to leave. A Caregiver should never leave their client! I was very upset.

I began my employment with honor in 09/2021 and worked for this company until 01/2022. This was the worst job ever. No one knew who anyone was. My paycheck were consistently wrong. This company will pay you minimum wages for 2 clients. If you don’t stay on them to get you sign on bonus you will NEVER see it. The supervisors quit employees quit. Finally, I quit. “DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. “run Run RUN”

When my brother called to tell me that he fell in his bldg and was being rushed to the hospital, I dropped everything immediately to fly to San Francisco from TX. Without a clear plan to know what I needed to do to attend to his needs or know how long he would need me to help, it was a bit overwhelming. After speaking to his doctors, it was quickly determined that he would need daily care and for several months. Since I couldn’t stay in SF non stop for that length of time due to pressing needs of my own company, I began a search on the internet for custodial care, and interviewed dozens of companies. I had to weed through hundreds of fake google reviews taking days and settled upon Honor to feel comfortable enough to step away between my visits. There were several factors important to me besides just having a warm body sitting on his sofa to keep him company. After chatting with Randy Allen, coupled with his follow up to check on his progress even while he was still in the hospital, I knew I settled on the right company- he truly exhibited a genuine level of care.. Randy understood my standards for excellence and brought Lawrence Snow into the mix to meet me as well to confirm their attention to detail. I was immediately impressed with both of them on their initial walk through. Unfortunately, the hospital discharge did not go exactly as planned, getting delayed hours before my brother’s wheelchair and other medical devices were delivered, but Randy offered to make a significant drive late one evening to help transport my brother home from the hospital in his van and get him situated at home. I know he was anxious (as well as I), being cut off from his round the clock nurses at that hospital into my care alone, but Randy and Lawrence made me feel that ‘we got this’. If it wasn’t for Randy’s help and by extension, Lawrence making sure that the right custodians were briefed and prepared to take care of my brother, I would have never been able to step away. Both my brother and I were exceptionally impressed with one custodian in particular, Rosa, she worked nonstop, always finding something to do and delivering a level of care that surpassed all others. Donna was also a critical member of the team, making sure team members were always on time (and on time meant showing up a bit early) with no lapses in coverage. Between Randy, Lawrence and Donna, I could not have asked for a better team that were genuinely caring, personable and detail oriented. After a few months, with their assistance, my brother is now out of his wheelchair and progressing nicely so that he can be self sufficient and is in good sprits. It truly was a life saver for both my brother and I to come in contact with Honor- not only was their technology state of the art that gave me daily updates, but it was the personal touch that made them stand out heads and shoulders above any other company out there. They have no peers in this industry. Each of these individuals should be commended for their dedication, and efforts. It truly was my HONOR to have worked with them to get my brother out of his wheelchair and back on his feet I would sincerely recommend Honor to anyone that needs care for their loved ones without any reservation. Their standards of excellence and care are without comparison. I wouldn’t have taken the time to write such a lengthy testimonial if I didn’t honestly want to make others lives less stressful in their time of need.

The people that Honor sent to my home to help with my husband, who has Parkinson's and needs a great deal of help due to very reduced mobility were without exception competent, kind, reliable, and good-humored. Most of them went above and beyond the basics of caregiving and took on household tasks without being asked. Once my husband is able to spend time back at home, I will be counting on their services once again. The administrative staff is extremely responsive and will go the last mile to make sure your loved one is well cared for and they are there for you to help with difficult or complex needs or schedule changes.

To become a care pro, yes, as a non-driver. You still need I9 documentation, such as a state ID and social security card, OR a valid passport for the hiring process, along with a valid HCA & TB test.
