I'm not sure who thought it was a good idea to put Sharynn in charge of the customer service desk but that is one rude human being. She wouldn't even acknowledge me, I asked "Do you have more formula behind the counter?" She replies "isle 8". That's not what I asked. Then she proceeds to MAKE a phone call while I try to explain there is none on the shelf. She ignores me and is laughing and giggling on the phone as I wait for her to finish. She moved away from me after a few minutes, so I looked for her name tag, which she sees me do. So to save face she quickly replies "everything is on the shelf" as I walked away. As a new mom who has been to every pharmacy and grocery store from Hershey to Lebanon looking for my daughter's formula, the last thing I want in a person who is supposed to be helpful is exactly how this woman treated me. And I'm willing to bet the piercings, red hair and mohawk she rolled her eyes at had everything to do with her lack of professionalism and effectivenessfailureof doing her job. What an absolute failure of a customer service "representative ". And a gross way to treat another person.

While shopping yesterday I had a positive experience with one of the employees named Zach. He had completed his shift and was doing some personal shopping - when I asked him for help he was happy to assist. In a day and age when most employees look the other way when they see a customer it was nice to be treated like the old days .

Giant is one of my favorite places to shop. Their weekly sales and coupons add up to great savings. They have aisles dedicated to specialty foods for health conscious people. I like that the deli slices meats and cheeses to order. The bacon at the meat counter is the best. The employees are helpful and courteous. The best deal right now is the points that you earn for cents off gas.
