We haven't been to Yelm Vision in several years because our insurance changed. My adult son had gone there since he was a toddler. Today he stopped in at his new vision center because he had some eye pain. He was turned away. He decided to stop at Yelm Vision knowing he wasn't a current patient. They took him right in and treated him as if he never left. Fixed him right up. Thank you. I'll be looking into changing my vision plan even if it costs me more. Today reminded me that you get what you pay for.

I actually give them a zero star rating, This place is a Total RIP off. The price that is charged for a regular eye exam is absurd!!! on top of that price they scare you into having a "special" exam to see if there are any eye conditions that may be arising, my daughter is 16 and requires a very mild prescription WHY did she need that ?? I chose not to go through them for the actual glasses because my daughter had already chosen some from the website we had gone through for her other glasses, well I was giving the prescription for her glasses but NOT the PD to be able to order her glasses and make sure they fit properly. When I called to find out why that was not printed on the prescription, their answer was "oh that's extra", (she was not very friendly about it either) UMMM WHAT????? It's common practice to give that info to you! it's part of the exam! In all the years my daughter and other family members have worn glasses we have NEVER had to pay extra for that info!! Absolutely Positively RIDICULOUS. Never Again will we go here.

Yelm Vision is absolutely an amazing place to go for your eye appointment and getting any type of prescription glasses. This is a family oriented facility and they are very knowledgeable in what they do. I have had my whole family go there. Dr. Eckroth is amazing with our kids! They have a wide variety and selection of glasses. I would highly recommend Yelm Vision for anyone or for the whole family.

Used to work here, but after I left, I continued to bring my family here as patients. The Drs are very knowledgeable and always go the extra mile. The staff is friendly and although I don't know them all anymore, they always treat us really well and have a lot of good input while I am picking out my glasses! Couldn't be more satisfied!!

Yes but only for a glasses prescription. If you want contacts you have to pay out of pocket.

Yes we are providers for Washington State Medicaid. Often patients also have a HMO such as Molina, Community Health Plan, United Health Care or Amerigroup in addition to having Provider One. We are providers for all of the above HMO's except for Amerigroup. Typically the state does not cover the fitting of contacts unless your prescription is high enough to be considered medically necessary. The cost of the fitting has many factors: if you are a new or established wearer, if you are being fit in a new lens or updating your current contact brand, type of lens etc. Please call 360-458-2088 to make an appointment. Our staff would be happy to answer any other questions. We love love to have you as a patient.
