It's private to me and my friends only. Don't come. I saw piranhas, a great white shark and last time i was there a soiled daiper floated by and touched my arm. Cold rainy days it's open to the public.

Very nice for a short hike including some time at or in the water. Really nice spot.

Short, easy hike to falls. From the parking lot. Left side of the soccer field in the corner you'll see a sign "To Falls". Just follow the path down. It is down hill and it's a natural path so wear hiking shoes or sneakers. The river is there and the falls are to the right. There's another sign post. We didn't go to the "Bridge" path. My plan is to go back and explore the entire loop trail. There's a nice spot to sit by the river. We went right after the massive rains from Ida. The river was really flowing. I love the sound of running water. Definitely will go back to explore further.

One of 3 entrances iirc. Great hike into a rocky forest laden with edible raspberries. About a mile to the waterfall and a mile back. Couldn't find the mine posted at the trailhead so I would recommend taking the blue route if coming

Yes, there are often police by the entrances.

It's closed technically, but nobody is listening and nobody is enforcing. I did some research and found out it was closed and didn't know previously. I drove past mid June and the parking wasn't blocked off but there were no parking signs all over the side of the road. I've been back multiple times since and it's been the same, packed parking on all entrances. Small but separated crowd at the falls.
Derek is completely incorrect. And it's over a mile from one entrance and I guess the other entrance is about a 1/4 mile.
If you can 😊😊 it is very nice to walk with the puppies
There is large parking lot when you enter. You need to walk across soccer field(grass), and on the left side by the woods you will see trail. You can also check out trial map that is posted on the board where you park. Do not drive alway to the shelter, just use very first parking when you enter park. Please keep in mind that this trial is for hikers, not for people with baby strollers. It is too challenging for little babies. I hope this will help.
Yes
I dont know but they closed it on weekends now due to people trashing it up. So sad.
That was me that wrote that. I went two weeks after and the bugs were much more manageable. It's the beginning and the end of the journey that have the bugs, as soon as you enter the woods, it's much better. I do recommend bug spray with deet though, if not, long sleeves.
Only camping stoves. The terrain barely allows for those, much less a full grill.
It's a walking trail. Open everyday during daylight hours. No signs posted as ofvhours.
