I celebrated my 50th Class Reunion at the Timbers. I was a wonderful venue. I chose the New York strip steak which was excellent along with green beans and a salad. We had a private room for the evening that was staffed with a full bar and a dessert table. A good time was had by all.

Trust Me, I’m an Award Winning Chef, and There’s not a Better Place, Family Owned Business, or Chef who Deserves Your business more, or who won’t stop at Just meeting Your expectations, But will exceed them with Every visit to The Timbers, We found this Special gem of a restaurant many, many years ago, and it’s so special for any event you wish to have, or if they’ve got one of their summer shows going, or you’re just looking for a casual evening out, We made such a special effort to visit this place that once we found it while on a trip to Hershey many Years back, We would drive the two and a half hours away from state college to visit, until we decided to move Here for five and a Half Years, Because We simply couldn’t be that far away from Our Favorite Restaurant, or community, In Mount Gretna…. The chef is the best of the best, She’s CIA trained, All your biggest names on television have sat in the same seats as Rachael Briody, The executive chef Here, She is absolutely Brilliany and makes Spectacular Meals that line the menu, each as consistently delicious and meticulously crafted as the other, She truly is my favorite chef in the area and has been giving me and my family the greatest joys of entertainment and Spectacularly delicious food that have only kept us coming back for more and telling everyone! My Favorite family recipe on the menu are the crab cakes, they’re huge compared to all the other crab cakes that you get elsewhere that are usually spelled with a “K” Not Here, Rachel even told me how she gently folds the crab by hand so that The giant lumps of crab never break apart, I’ve never had such incredibly large crab cakes in all my life that had such a minuscule amount of filler, and in this day and age, I have no idea how she can afford to deliver so much for such a little cost to the consumer Also, I’m not a honey mustard guy, but Her homemade dressing has become something of a dream and perfect marriage for any salad for me, I don’t know she does, but it’s the single best dressing I’ve ever had, You’ve got to give it a try, The chicken Parmesan is also a family favorite, and believe it or not, Even if you want the best juiciest burger around, served on Beautiful dinnerware and a white linen tablecloth, There’s no place else to go than The Timbers, I Love it with all my Heart and the family who runs it are friends to the entire community they serve, call to book your reservation and you’ll see that weather you want to sit at the bar for drinks that’s very much what the locals call the “Cheers Bar” because everyone knows everyone and mingles like family, or sit at a table for one of the best, most memorable experiences You’ve ever had, The Timbers has it all, and they Have something for everyone, I know what’s Generally missing at other establishments is all cared for Here down to every last detail that If you’ve been looking for it, You’ll find it Here, and then some! This is a great out of the way place, with a real rustic feel, with the service of a five-star restaurant! We went for a private gathering. We would love to come back to see a performance of some sort in their outdoor theater. I would highly recommend it!
