While standing in line I was held captive by the configuration of store and people waiting to check out. The woman ahead of me became extremely upset that she could not get a paper receipt and began an incoherent rant of which I did not pay attention. This apparently prompted a response from the customer's companion. Before I knew it the ladies behind the cash register along with the customers started to just disparage Joe Biden, when his name was not part of any conversation before that moment I was not sure what prompted the evil and vile things coming out of her mouth. Then out of no where Nancy Pelosi's name came up and all four began talking about killing her. It was the most disgusting interchange out of nowhere for no reason other than 4 old crows yammering on about this political person or another with hateful disgusting comments. I put my items down on the counter, pushed my way through to make a path outside the store. Telling the clerks that I am not interested in supporting any place that just vilifies people and supports violence. So ---it may make me a "woke" shopper, and I don't care. I was raised better than that and it was disgusting to see my elders acting so reprehensible. Never going here again, and not sending my many guests and visitors to support this store.

I will not buy here again. They charge extra for using a credit card.The store was also dirty, the tasting of olive oils does not seem like a good idea in this age of COVID.

We can never get enough of this place! Not only is their store full of all sorts of unique goodies- anything from every kitchen knick knack you can think of, aprons, clothing, jewelry, glassware, artwork, local artisan items, handcrafted items, etc., BUT the upstairs features all of their wonderful wines, homemade cheeses, sauces, pickled veggies, salsas, cheeses and more! We always stop by here if we want to get a unique gift for someone or need some cheese and wine for a party.
