A great place to stop on our way out of Acadia/the island with a quaint and cool environment. Refreshing beers and tasty bbq. The beans were unique and delicious, as was the cornbread. The pulled pork sandwich was yummy slathered in a mix of their sauces.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience. The food was 5/5. My table got the Sampler which had pulled pork, chicken, ribs, and sausages with sides of beans, coleslaw, and potato salad. Everything was yummy! I enjoyed the sweet BBQ sauce, but the hot BBQ was also good too. The ambiance was great as well. We went on a night with live music and it was relaxed and enjoyable. Overall 5/5 for service, ambiance, and definitely the food.

Great place to visit after hiking at Acadia National Park! Bonus if you like beer as this location is in the Atlantic Brewing Company. We were in the mood for something different so got the blueberry soda and a blueberry float - wicked tasty! I got the pulled pork sandwich, which was seriously the most tender I've ever had! Husband had the sampler and was very happy with everything in it. Awesome employees as well, we absolutely will visit a couple times next time we're in the area!

9/23/21 - If you are vacationing at Acadia and are looking for a change of pace from the typical Maine lobster pound, give Mainely-Meat Bar-B-Que a try. We stopped in for a late-lunch/early-dinner at 3pm. There was both indoor and outdoor seating available. We chose to dine indoors since it was not too crowded. We ordered "The Max Plate" which is a LARGE platter of pulled pork, ribs, chicken, Italian sausage, and four side dishes. Check out the attached picture of the platter. This was the best BBQ that we've had in quite some time. I'm not usually a fan of pulled pork, but this pulled pork was really good. The Max Plate was a lot of food and we had leftovers for days (good thing our room had a refrigerator and microwave!). The waitstaff was very attentive and there was plenty of onsite parking. Too bad the ice cream shop was closed.
