First of all this rating is only for the hospital not for my doctor involved, he was Awesome!! The nurses there are something to be desired. Now, there were some nice ones but, the majority of them were like: let's get this done, they were rude and not compassionate at all. It's pretty bad when your Great doctor says you'd be better to recoup at home because of lack of staff. I would Not plan to go back to this hospital ever!!!!! I would find another hospital to attend to this place is a joke!!!

Sorry, this will be long, but I have been stuck in the hospital for my 3rd night now, and I am bored. Let's start by saying that unfortunately, I am familiar with this ER. Last time I was here was 2 years ago. My experiences back then were okay. Would have rated it at 3 stars. Well, 3 days ago (Sunday), I come rushing back. I could barely stand, and I could barely breath, and my heart rate was fluctuating between 150-170. Felt like someone stabbed me in the back, then in the chest. I was hunched over as I was checking in. They immediately took me to the back and ran an ekg which looked fine. As they were checking my vitals, of course I started to feel better. I started dismissing myself haha. Maybe it was just anxiety or something. Seriously, I don't want to be stuck with another ER bill. And when they stuck me back into the waiting room, I saw that there was ALOT of people waiting, I expected to wait HOURS before I actually get seen or a bed. But something must've alerted them because I was ordered back for an X-ray almost immediately. Then was put back into the waiting area, AGAIN, and thought well here we go, for sure it will be hours. It was busy, I felt better...maybe I should just go. They came and got me 5 minutes later. At this point I am beginning to realize how serious this might be if I am being seen so fast, ahead of all those people waiting. They sit me down in an uncomfortable chair in some room. It looked like rooms were all full as I saw some people laying on gurneys in the hallway. Turns out, I had something serious going on. So from that point everything escalated. I had an awesome team. Too bad I don't really remember everyone's name. For some reason I can only remember the RN Ken and Dr. Patel. I think the only reason why I remembered Dr. Patel is because she was young and pretty, and she happened to be standing in front of me as they were inserting a tube into my lungs. But there were more doctors and more nurses, and all were fantastic. The doctors constantly checked on me throughout the night to make sure I was okay. Only thing I didn't like was when I needed to pee, Ken brought me a bed pan. That was terrible. I still like him, but the RN that relieved him brought me a bedside commode thingie. A much better peeing experience! Let me warn you, if you have to stay in the ER overnight, omg, those beds are VERY uncomfortable! Pretty sure these beds are issued to people in hell. And if you happen to have a tube inserted into your back, it made for a more miserable experience. I was suppose to get admitted to a room upstairs, but seems like they were all full there too, so unfortunately, I had to stay in the ER on the god awful beds. I must say my experience was good. But Hopefully I won't be back!

So we come here to bring Mom straight from Urgent Care who kindly provided us with something called a fast pass. I give the pass to the Check in nurse who proceeds to laugh and say “yeah no”. She then starts to talk smack about the provider who gave us the pass and about us expecting the card to do something for us. So unprofessional I just have no words to describe how disgusted I am right now. If I was here for myself I would have walked out already but since my Mom gets pneumonia so quickly I’m going to stay until she is seen. Won’t be coming back here.

The staff working this ER are my new heroes. Idk y the world this society is coming to that makes everyone out there a bully or loud or unruly to prove a point. These ladies were being berrated by several ,patients and relatives and security being called. After dealing with being photographed. They still managed to act professional and continued on the rest of their 12hr shifts... u guys r awesome... thank u...

Legally an emergency can't turn you away when you are having an emergency, such as a heart issue.
