St Hyacinth's Cemetery

Appalling! After two years through the pandemic we came back to clean-up the family plot at St. Hyacinth Cemetery. The entrance was not safe to negotiate as were the dirt roads. Weeds have pretty much taken over the cemetery which was not well kept. The view from Stroudwater Street was worse with huge weeds growing on land along the city street making drainage nearly impossible. Depressing to see that any semblance of perpetual care exists in what was once a beautiful cemetery. Persons responsible for upkeep need to be held responsible. Following our visit we visited other cemeteries which were well kept and peaceful. My only regret is not taking the time to take and post photos.
