Kingfisher is an interesting juxtaposition of food, service, decor, and ambiance that provides a generally pleasant experience but leaves one wanting for... something... First, the food: based on the menu, you have appetizers that don't fit with the entrees (French-style steamed mussels in white wine and garlic, for example [we got the similar clams, which were delicious], then fish entrees with decidedly Mexican flavors). Everything tasted good, but the flavors weren't necessarily complimentary. Overall the food was quite good - and flavorful - but definitely lacked in its presentation (see photos). Wine: they have an extensive wine list (mostly domestic) with a nice variety of bottles and selections by the glass. The decor was sparse yet disjointed, nothing really went together. Dimly lit, it could have made for a romantic atmosphere but nothing about it feels cozy. The staff were all pleasant and efficient. They were also knowledgeable about the menu and knew to inform us immediately that they were out of a couple of items (we dined there late on a Friday evening). Overall, this place is worth a try, but I don't think it will be a regular spot for me, personally.

Went for my wife's birthday and it was a wonderful experience. Great atmosphere with low music and good lighting. One of the few places we have gone in Arizona that enforced a mask policy. The Hawaiian fish was surprisingly delicious. Cappuccino was superb.

One of my favorite restaurants in Tucson. Wide variety of dishes, friendly staff, nice music and ambiance. Oyster bar with many options. Very recommended.

My family just celebrated a birthday here, I had to work late and couldn’t make it. And this was what I received…. 3 fish sticks with some soggy lettuce and probably the driest coleslaw Iv ever had in my life. Was really looking forward to an amazing fish fry when I came home 😂

No there is no Outdoors for safe ventilation I don't think but their restaurant is a very good restaurant to go eat
Thanks for asking, we are following the guide lines set forth by the Pima County Health Dept, as well as the CDC guidelines. All guests are required to wear masks to enter and when moving through the dining rooms. All staff wear masks, and frequent handwashing is a must We are socially distancing our tables, and staggering our reservations to only seat 50% of the dining room. All tables are sanitized between seating, and public areas are sanitized by the hour. There are hand sanitizer stations throughout the dining rooms for employee and guest use. All of the staff have their temperature recorded upon arrival
Not sure ...likely...its a nice place to have one fore sure!
We do not currently have a Happy Hour, possibly after the new year. Sincerely, Jim Murphy
Hello Laura, thanks for asking, we do not have a printed kid's menu, we accommodate our young guests under 9 years of age with grilled cheese, 1/2 burgers, 1/2 Fish and Chips, chicken fingers and some entrees we can serve a 1/2 portion for smaller diners. Sincerely, Jim Murphy
