The last person admin here who cared left when Mindy left last year. This place doesn't respect its patients nor do you ever gain any trust. The only mistake I've made in years n years was eat an avocado toast from Dunkins bc they don't advertise that there are poppy seeds on it and even though I literally quirk my program 10000% correctly and never miss meetings or callbacks and have all clean uas for years n years and have only contested actual false positive tests, they have 0 problem ruining my life by taking my take homes when they know it was poppy seeds. I love 2 hour drive away n cannot afford Biden gas prices to drive everyday WHEN I DID NOTHING WRONG AND THEY KNOW IT for months n months bc lord only knows when they'll finally give the 2 tests you need n they won't even try to. This place does not care about you or your recovery and you'll never be trusted. Aimee the director can't be bothered to call you back either only adding to the whole they dgaf about you truth. Good luck if you need this program n I suggest getting thru your wd n tapering off immediately bc doing everything right counts for nothing, nada, zip, zilch.

This is literally the worst treatment facility I have ever seen . For the most part the nursing staff and councilors are incredibly un professional , disrespectful and difficult to work with to the point of interfering with patients treatment .i started there 7 days ago and they have been unable to dose me for one bs reason or another 4 of those 7 days and the staff seemed to try there best to make receiving medicine as difficult as possible . If you are looking for a caring helpful treatment facility, the discovery house is not for you .

Fantastic place for addiction help. Great staff, great methadone program, state of the art. Started going Feb 11, 2019 and haven't used street drugs since.

It was good, we only go there if we go to bangor, like once a year. But ok I guess.

To receive care at our Comprehensive Treatment Center, patients must be age 18 or older, have been dependent on opioids for at least one year, and have gone at least 20 hours since last using opioids or be in a current state of withdrawal. From there, prospective patients can schedule an intake appointment, which consists of participating in a full assessment, completing intake paperwork, and beginning medication.
Yes, we offer both individual and group counseling.
Our clinic typically accepts Medicaid, Medicare, Commercial Insurance and Self-Pay. Please give us a call for further information.
I'm not sure how it is now due to the pandemic but when I called my appointment was in 4 days. I received my first dose the same day after my intake. Wishing you all the best moving forward.
Hours on Sat are the same as the rest of the week, 5:30am to 10:30am. As of the 14th of July 2019, everyone gets a takehome for Sunday. Yeah!
They are moving sometime in October, I believe. Open Saturdays 5:30am to 10:30am same as weekdays & holidays. Sunday everyone gets a takehome
Nope, I know they'll be moving in the fall, I think in a near industrial park, although they haven't given anyone an affirmative answer
