Terrific staff who really seem to enjoy dogs. It's very clean and organized. We've used day care and done weekend stays. Our dog always comes home happy!

I used to be a regular customer for two years straight. I love how they treated my rescued dog. But my pup was just permanently banned. The good: For two years, I would bring her in 2-4 times a week, weekly and we would only board her there. The owner was great accommodating her, especially during a personal emergency in which she went above an beyond for us, she boarded our (sick at the time) dog at a discounted price, doing a same day weeklong boarding reservation so we could fly back home to a funeral. There’s an app where you can see your dog playing. My dog absolutely LOVES camp bow wow and their staff. Every time I bring her in, she’ll run inside and play all day. She’ll play all day and sleep like a princess when we pick her up. The staff loves her too The bad: I do wish the staff was more transparent with communication. There was this one incident during boarding, where our dog had an allergic reaction and they took her to the vet. They said they tried to call me, but I didn’t have any missed calls or voice messages, so I wasn’t aware of it until I returned from my trip. I didn’t like this at all. Other times our dog would nip or bite another dog and we wouldn’t be notified until pickup time, days after the incident. The staff noticed that our dog developed behavioral issues and let us know, but didn’t effectively communicate about these escalating. We decided to work them out with training, but it wasn’t enough, and it resulted in her banning. Why the ban: About a year ago the staff told us that our dog would occasionally nip or growl at other dogs. During one of her long boards (3 weeks boarding), she bit another dog while gate guarding. She was suspended for a few days and we were advised to seek training, for which we did. We were never warned about the incident until we picked her up. When our trainer consulted the staff, they told her that we were warned about her behavior issues escalating and that we had remained inactive. I didn’t want to play he said/she said, I just wanted to help my dog, so I moved on from this comment. I asked the staff to accommodate the dog with quiet time and placing her away from jumping dogs, etc. During her most recent boarding session, she bit another dog. Again, we didn’t find out about it until we picked her up. And when we did, the staff told us that our dog was permanently banned. I understand. They are watching for the other dogs safety. But I wish the staff would’ve been more transparent and truthful about her behavior escalating, since she doesn’t really show behavioral issues at home much. I also wish they would’ve called the same day the incident had happened. I have quite mixed feelings because I like Camp Bow Wow and their staff (although they could improve communication), but it isn’t the right environment for my dog. They have a great number of dogs at once and it’s playtime from arrival to pick up time. I had to constantly remind the staff to put her on quiet time often (what they call senior dog schedule), I assumed it was the accommodation she would receive during the last boarding. At the end of the day, I won’t know entirely what accommodations she received during her many stays for daycare and boarding, nor how many incidents (and to what severity) that resulted in my dog being banned. If you have a dog with behavioral issues (even if it’s just slightly), I would thread lightly and not do boarding. My dog developed behavior issues long after we started going to Camp Bow Wow. She’s a sweetheart at home, although a little wary when meeting other animals/humans. Once given enough time and space, she’s all fun and games. Camp Bow Wow is just not the right environment for her and no one is at fault for this. Both parties really tried their best to fix this. I will continue to work on my dog’s behavior issues (with a new trainer, considering the current structure doesn’t work for us) And I am now looking for another dog daycare center that’s a better fit for our dog.

Our Tofu loves to play and spend the night at Camp Bow Wow, the facilities are clean, the staff is friendly and professional, they always have someone taking care of the puppies. It gives a lot of peace, to be able to see them through the cameras.

Phoebe loves day camp here! She gets so happy and does the zoomies when we say "let's go to camp". Best part is when we pick her up she is exhausted. Best thing for a very energetic dog. Staff are A+++

Camp bow wow is for dogs. You could maybe try like PetSmart Petshotel for a cat? The rooms are usually a little small but if it's just for a few days cats don't seem to mind.
