Terrible service. They do not answer the phone. Cannot find your mail. Different stories as what to do when there is a mail problem that do not work. Mail on hold not delivered at the end of the hold. Two weeks can go by and no delivery. Postal workers who answer the phone when trying to get held mail delivered are treated rudely with angry hostile and defensive behavior on their side. Lots of problems going on in that PO. The number that they list on their site is for the National Post Office! Not them. There is at least a 50 minute hold to get to talk to someone at the national post office level. Dana Polnt PO does not list their phone number a local 949 number. They do not want you to call them.

I love this post office! Staff are friendly and helpful. There is no better value the USPS. Mail and packages arrive much faster and for much less $ than UPS or other options. Why pay more for the same services at privately run stores when your local post office is so reliable and fast?

Dana Point is the worst post office I’ve ever had to use. All except maybe 2 employees are so Rude, they apparently don’t even know postal regulations or how to mail packages. I ship a lot. They always quote highest price and say there are no other options which is total bs. The best post office is that little annex location in San Juan by the train tracks off Del Obispo. They are super nice and very helpful.

Best post office around! I've been going here for years and haven't found better service anywhere. Kind, caring and compassionate long-time employees make coming here a pleasant experience. Oh, if you've complained about anything, look into yourself. The hours are posted and can be verified before you enter. Any messes in the lobby are the result of customers who throw there trash on the ground even though there are several recycle bins inside. If you think the employees are inept and/or don't care, check yourself. Mailings can get lost anywhere from the place they are mailed to their destination. And if you really dislike this post office, go somewhere else...you'll be doing everyone a favor!
