Prices have gone up and all extras except for the two hot sauces you get to pay for now.. Charge a 1.25 more for the onions peppers and the choice of 4 or 5 hot sauces and they would still make money. To pay a 1.50 for Ranchero sauce for a wet burrito was ridiculous

Boring nearly tasteless tacos (carne asada and shredded beef). So disappointing. Hardly could call it Mexican, with no spices or flavor.

Chicken enchiladas tasted like soy sauce. "Mexican" rice was just oily white rice. $13 down the tube. Even presentation was poor. Looked and tasted gross. Won't be back to Nicos oro valley. Ever!!!
Delightfully Gnarly
Food was sooo good. Had Chicken Chimichanga (shown in photo) and Chicken Taco. The flavor of both was outstanding. The chimi was lightly fried and not crispy like I've had elsewhere but the flavor was so good I did not mind. Refried beans were delicious. I wish I knew how they cook the chicken for the tacos - each bite of chicken was a flavor bomb. The style of Mexican was a bit different than I'm used to - that being Sonoran Mexican, with sour cream or cream cheese sauces. The one sauce they have here is red. But again I did not mind because it had such good flavor. There are two tables outside and we enjoyed our dinner while enjoying the gorgeous scenery of the mountains, easily visible from our table. I looked at a lot of reviews for 'fancy' restaurants before we decided upon going casual and coming here. Glad we did.

I have always had the same problem. I usually can't even get them to answer the phone in the first place & the 2 times I have, they were very rude.
I've had that problem too. Fortunately, I love pretty close, but it's still really annoying when their location hours don't match with the hours on Google, or when they take it upon themselves to close earlier than what their hours say. Even worse when you can't get them to answer their phone to confirm what their hours are.
Good place go to if you want to clean out your system. No personality, very poor customer service, they added cheese to my burrito I took it back and instead of remaking it they were digging the cheese out of the burrito. They didn't think I saw this so I had to tell them in Spanish to remake it. Horrible service.
