First time here, we were seated right away and the food came out quickly. Food was pretty good and our server was super nice! Only downside was I felt cramped by surrounding tables.

The Eclectic Cafe is a very nice old school diner. The menu lives up to their name...it is deep and eclectic. They have a good beer- staring local brews- and wine choices. The staff is a loyal friendly bunch. I've enjoyed their turkey patty melt - yep you heard mugged right - and their chicken tortilla soup. Try out this Tucson classic.

My husband and I ate here for the first time after touring a home for sale in the area. We got a place to sit quickly, the walls are covered in artwork for sale, and the staff was friendly and quick to serve. The booths and tables are a little out dated, but it was a clean. We placed our order, and it was delivered quickly. I felt bad that I kept getting phone calls from clients during our meal, but the server was very patient and understanding when coming by to check on us. They kept the drinks full and the food was delicious and healthy.

I have been traveling for several days. I was on the lookout for a fresh salad. This place nailed it. I also had a cup of their gazpacho. Two thumbs up, more if I had more hands! The salad was as fresh as can be without the preservative taste. You can tell the greens were well washed and prepared. This place is officially on my "I will eat here regularly" list so I can try everything on the menu!

Breakfast is served from 8 - 12 on Saturday and Sunday. We serve lunch and dinner from 11 - 8 seven days a week.
We are doing everything recommended by the health authorities. Masks, plexiglass between booths, limited capacity, sanitized menus, extra emphasis on hand washing, extra emphasis on hard surface sanitization and recycled air in the dining room. We also monitor the health of the staff with daily temperature checks.

Thank you for your question, John. We make everything from scratch using fresh and often local ingredients. The chips are hand cut and made in Tucson, the cheese is shredded by hand everyday to insure freshness, the sourdough rolls are made fresh by our bakery partner here in Tucson and the broth is made every morning with fresh chopped vegetables. It is also a 32 oz portion which can feed two adults. We don't include chicken with our tortilla soup but offer an option to add it.
