My problem is the trash drop off situation , I have sat in line for way longer than anyone should ever have to wait just to throw trash in a dumpster there has to be a better way . and the amount of separation required for recycling, that makes me just not want to recycle 🤷🏻‍♂️

The lady in the front definitely gave attitude to both my wife and I when we first got our stickers years ago... since then we have not dealt with her. The rest of the staff has always been pretty helpful. Any questions I’ve asked have always been answered. I read about people not knowing where to go asking for help and getting the it’s over there with a finger pointing instead of having their hands held and walked to the destination. Come on people open your eyes and use a little common sense. I give 4 stars.

I have used this transfer station for over a year and really love it! The woman who the previous review is referring to, is a wonderful person. She does run a tight ship but that is her job. And she does it well. All around good operation!

I do not live in Milford, however, my boyfriend does and has for years. I offered to drop off his trash for him a few times because his work schedule makes it a little difficult to get there with the hours they're open. He wrote a note giving me permission to do so. He mentioned the lady isn't very nice. When I got there I waited because the sign says to wait. She came out and I explained to her I was just bringing my boyfriends trash for him because he's working and handed her the note. She asked if I had any recyclables and I told her I just had one empty cat litter container and she proceeded to tell me what to do. The problem was she had MAJOR attitude towards me and spoke to me like I should know how to do this and with a further attitude she told me next time don't come this way go over there and around. I explained to her that I knew to do that but that I had never done any recyclables so I wanted to make sure I did it correctly. She continued to explain how to pull around then wait until there is an empty spot and back in. I said yes, that I know, I've dropped his trash off a couple of times, but I just wasn't sure about the recycling. As I was explaining this, she walked away and went back into her office. RUDE! VERY RUDE! I get that there may be some people that try to get rid of their own stuff through someone else but that is NOT me! I have trash pick up where I live and have not had to bring bulky items to the dump where I live in YEARS!

I'm cleaning up a property I own in Milford. the tenants there left about a dozen cans of paint in the shed along with used motor oil in a large plastic container. Can I bring it to the transfer station? Willing to pay just want it done properly.

Latex paint, dried. Oil based needs to go to the hazardous waste day in Nashua. Ask at the scale house to be sure.
