This was my first experience with a compounding pharmacy and it was great. Before I had the prescription from my Doctor I called and spoke with Kate to ask about availability for my med. I told her I cannot have sugar or artificial sweeteners. When the prescription came through from my Doctor it wasn’t correct—it was the artificial sweetener version. When I saw the mistake I called Kate, but she had already fixed it. She remembered our conversation and worked with my Doctors’ office to get the correct version for me. Thanks Kate! Not only are they locally-owned, they are honestly the most knowledgable group of professionals I've found when it comes to all things supplements. As they counsel, just because it's over the counter and "natural" doesn't mean it's without side effects. They can talk through your medical history and and medications to make sure you are taking them safely and effectively. My family buys all our multi vitamins and other natural health care products from them. They also have a compounding pharmacy where I've been able to get special formations and preparations of drugs and nutraceuticals, allowing me to avoid fillers and harmful or allergenic ingredients. Skip the conventional pharmacy or big box natural foods stores and head to Coastal! You'll pay the same or less, but you'll gain knowledge, support local jobs, and maybe even make new friends.

Hi Kara! Yes we do! You can actually use the "people form" for your pets. We carry CBD products from CV Sciences. We use them on our own cats! :)
Hi Catherine, The supplement you're taking does contain 5 mg of strontium which is considered to be safe. Use of additional strontium supplements is controversial, however, due to potential side effects. You shouldn't need extra, but you should consult with a practitioner who knows about strontium and your specific health needs. Regarding a multivitamin, there are many different options depending on what your specific needs are. There are formulations for women, women over 40, over 50, etc, which target the typical needs of those groups. You should look at what ingredients your other supplements include in order to make sure you don't get too much of any elements (due to duplication of ingredients). We carry a number of multivitamins, so please feel free to come in and discuss the various options!
