Great location to listen to the cascading water and let your thoughts drift. Also, very educational about the design and usage of the "falls". Free admission with a nearby park and can take a stroll along the canal.

This place is very outdated and needs repairs. It's pretty cool though. We went in winter so there was no water falling down. The Greenway along the canal is a great place for locals to go riding on a bike!

This is a man made fall over a canal seems. There are 3 forks of the falls. You can spend time near canal but not much around fall. You will like it if you love water but Water is not clear. Not a place to specifically travel for this but if you are nearby I will say keep 1st option as Tempe Beach Park and 2nd as this fall 😬

Okay OKAY, WHO PUT 3 MINI MINI WATERFALLS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY? If that was you, I thank you sir or madam for doing God's work. We stopped by this hidden gem looking to explore more of Arizona and was quite jealous that we don't have something like this in Southern California. When you first get to the location, you don't see anything but a metal clad building next to a park. As you walk up the ramps and then back down, you walk into something that is truly mesmerizing to see and experience. To me it's a flowing work of art, to those in Arizona, this is the greatest gift around... Especially in the summer time. The photos don't do this location justice, but definitely something you should experience.

Terribly dangerous! Water will cause your pacemaker to short circuit.
It's free. But it's not a destination spot on it's own. Just a cool little waterfall in the heart of the city
You could get some nice pictures by the waterfall
If you Google "waterworks Arizona Falls at night" there are some gorgeous photos of it completely lit. I know if there is a special event it is well lit.
