Store is nicely set up with a wide variety of outdoor items, from firearms and camping items, to all things fishing, hunting, even cool gifts and clothing. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff and if you're lucky, you'll get to meet Birch, the dog on staff.

Simply put this shop hits all the marks and you won't be disappointed here. The guy at the counter knows his stuff but he isn't cocky. If you need help figuring it out he won't stutter making a suggestion but he isn't pushy. The shop itself is on the smaller side if you're used to chain retailers, but it flows quite nicely and makes sensible use of the space. This enables quite a diverse and extensive selection of products to consider, some standard fair and some less common items. The pricing is competitive for the local regional economy, but higher than the inter-state average and maybe even a little arbitrary in the internet age. This is more than made up for though with the customer service and practical experience offered here.

Great selection for hunting and defense firearms, great fishing section, prices are crazy good and the staff will hep you out with any issue you've got. Easily the best outfitter in northern Vermont.

Owner has managed gun depts for other stores in area, now has his own establishment. Prices good, staff friendly and knowledgeable not only about stock/gear but about local hunting/fishing/shooting and happy to answer questions. Recommended!
