OMG!! I'm beginning to more and more discover Arizona and its amazing and beautiful but stunning lakes lately. First, you can park for free if no parking available, you can park along aside the road providing you dont interfere or block traffic. Second, you can bring your own food and or, do your own BBQ here. There are plenty of tables everywhere. You can take a swim as well. You can bring your own boat and yes there is a boat ramp. There are at least three to four bathrooms available. Is free to enter. One thing I didn't like about it is the fact there's garbage everywhere and sad to say, people are just lazy as hell not to pick up after themselves. Amazing. You can bring you pets. They don't allow glass bottles of any kind. Thank God for that. This lake is huge. Beautiful and relaxing. You hot to go here. I recommend it.

Fun & unique area! You can spend as much or as little time as you want here. All the activities are not always available so be sure to make sure you’re going at a time with what you want to see. The mining/ gold panning wasn’t available today but the trains were running & the shoot out show was happening! Not a lot of shady spots to hang out and cool down in outside though. The big indoor museum costs several dollars a person but you can also just come for all the rest of the activities which are free.

Enjoyed this stop! It's free, no sales tax either if you buy something from the gift shop. Got to see Elvis Presley Chapel and all the volunteers are knowledgeable and helpful

The website linked from this Maps entry shows prices. The prices listed there don't match those indicated in an earlier answer. Which is correct?

For the museum? Anytime within operating hours, I believe. You purchase tickets inside the gift shop but there are things to see outside as well.
62 to 88 degrees.
They have new summer hours so if you call you get the.updated, days andvtimrd
The store and museum certainly are. The church, i don't think so. There is also unpaved hiking/ walking trails that could be a challenge. Not black diamond level challenge, also not sidewalk simple. Hope it helps.
Day I was there, trains were running every hour. I was there on a Thursday I think
